Antioxidantien (Vorbeugen), Pflege-Maske + Epidermal Repair (Korrigieren),  Sonnenschutz (Schützen):

Here we again. I had my first treatment with our new partner SkinCeuticals !

We produced a little video (below) for you to see the Pigment Balancing Peel Facial Treatment  step by step. But in order to make it more understandable, I also wrote down the steps in detail.

SkinCeuticals Pigment Balancing Peel Facial Treatment  (reduces hyperpigmentation and to improve the appearance of an uneven skin tone):

We begin the facial treatment with Cleansing the skin:

  • Gentle Cleanser
  • Equalizing Toner
  • Peel Neutralizer
  • Last step is to remove any left over grease left on the skin with the Sanitizing Booster
  • Then we protect sensitive areas of the face (eyes and lips) with Emollence  (a rich moisturizer)

Begin the Pigment Balancing Peel Treatment:

  • Apply the treatment solution (which is mixed by the esthetician to target individual skin types and goals)  to the skin with a gentle brush all around the face leaving the eyes and lips out.
  • Leave treatment on for 2-5 minutes (depending on the individual skin type and needs)
  • While keeping a close eye during this time that there are no negative reactions to the skin
  • After this time is over, with a cotton swab we apply the Peel Nefutralizer
  • To end the peeling we use cold compresses to remove any excess solution.

To Finish the treatment:  Calm, Moisturize and Protect the skin (Prevent – Correct – Protect)

  • We apply an Anti-Oxidant- CE Ferulic serum which has Vitamin C to improve skin brightness
  • Then we apply a Phyto-Corrective Masque for 10-15 minutes to calm, soothe, and moisturize the skin
  • Remove the Phyto-Corrective Masque with luke warm water
  • Next we apply Epidermal Repair to leave on  – to protect and soothe the skin, it helps the skin to regenerate
  • We end the treatment with sunscreen to protect the skin – Ultra Facial Defense SPF 50
  • Due to the fact that it’s for hyperpigmented skin it’s highly recommended not to expose your facial skin in the sun

In general I can say, that it is key to find a professional studio, where you have the treatment made! In my case, I am sooooo happy and more than glad, having it done at the San Medical Center in Salzburg. They are super friendly, great at what they do and they work with the SkinCeuticals products, which are one of a kind!

My skin definitely feels smoother and less irritated. It gets better week by week! The only thing you have to keep in mind is that the first week after this special treatment the skin peels. It is a normal way the skin heals itself and refreshes, but you should plan it so that you have to important meeting or anything else the week after 😉 .

But as I said before, after that one week it just gets better and better. And man, I am so glad I did this – I can absolutely recommend this treatment!

My skin feels more fresh and looks that way, too. Isn’t that what we want at the age of 33 😉 …

Since many of you did ask me to try ‚Needling‘, this will be the next treatment I´ll do at the San Medical Center in Salzburg! So stay tuned – looking forward to reporting about that soon 🙂 !!!
